The agreement between you and us when you order from this website. Please read it before you place an order.

1. Who You Are Dealing With

This website, [[WEBSITE_DOMAIN]], is operated by [[LEGAL_ENTITY]], having its place of business at [[BUSINESS_ADDRESS]].

2. Acceptance and Eligibility

By browsing this website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, to our Shipping Policy and to our Privacy Policy, all of which form one agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the details you enter.

3. Products, Photographs and Availability

  • Our sweets are handmade in batches. Colour, size, weight of individual pieces, and the exact appearance of garnish will vary slightly from the photographs, which are illustrative.
  • Weights are net of packaging and are measured at the time of packing. Fresh sweets may lose a little moisture in transit.
  • All items are subject to availability on the day of preparation. If an item cannot be made, we will offer you a substitute of equal value or refund that item.
  • We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in product descriptions, weights or prices, and to cancel and fully refund an order affected by such an error.

4. Allergens and Food Safety

Our kitchen works with milk, ghee, tree nuts (cashew, almond, pistachio), wheat, gram flour, sesame, coconut and edible silver leaf. Traces of any of these may be present in any item, including those not listing them as ingredients, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free product. If you have a food allergy, please read the ingredient list on the product page and the box, and consult us before ordering. Sugar-free items are prepared with permitted sweeteners for reduced sugar intake; they are not a medical product and are not a substitute for advice from your doctor.

5. Prices, Taxes and Payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Goods and Services Tax is charged at the rate applicable to each item, currently [[GST_RATE]]. The tax component is shown separately at checkout and on your invoice.
  • Delivery and packing charges, where applicable, are shown as separate line items before you pay. The total displayed on the final checkout screen is the amount payable.
  • Payments are processed by our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
  • Prices may change at any time, but a change will never affect an order already confirmed and paid for.

6. When a Contract Is Formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of the order to you. We may decline an order — and refund any amount already paid in full — where the delivery address is not serviceable, where stock or kitchen capacity does not permit it, where a pricing or description error has occurred, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

7. Changes and Cancellation

Free cancellation window
Within [[CANCELLATION_WINDOW_HOURS]] of placing the order, provided preparation has not begun
After preparation has begun
Cannot be cancelled, as the sweets are made fresh for your order and cannot be resold

Bespoke, bulk and corporate orders may be cancelled only on the terms confirmed in writing when the order was accepted, as ingredients and packaging for these are procured specially. Changes to the delivery address or date are subject to our confirmation and to the parcel not having been handed to the delivery partner.

8. Returns and Refunds — Perishable Goods

Freshly prepared sweets are perishable food. Once delivered and accepted, they cannot be returned or exchanged, and a change of mind is not a ground for refund. This limitation exists for food-safety reasons and does not affect any right you have under Indian consumer law in respect of goods that are defective or not as described.

We will replace or refund an item where:

  • the wrong item, wrong quantity or wrong weight was delivered;
  • the item arrived spoiled, crushed, leaking, or otherwise unfit to eat; or
  • the order was not delivered at all through no fault of yours.

Such a claim must be raised within [[DAMAGE_REPORT_WINDOW_HOURS]] of delivery, with photographs of the packaging and contents taken before anything is discarded. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within [[REFUND_WINDOW_DAYS]]; the time your bank takes to post the credit is outside our control.

Minor softening, sweating inside the box, sugar crystallisation, and shifting of silver leaf are ordinary characteristics of transporting fresh mithai and are not defects. Full procedure is set out in our Shipping Policy.

9. Delivery

Delivery timelines, serviceable areas, charges and the consequences of an incorrect address are governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Stated timelines are estimates in good faith and are not guaranteed to the hour. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.

10. Use of This Website

All content on this site — text, photographs, recipes as described, logos, packaging designs and page layouts — belongs to us or is used with permission, and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our written consent.

You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it at scale, place fraudulent or speculative orders, or submit content that is unlawful, abusive or infringing. Reviews and messages you submit may be published in whole or in part, and we may remove content that breaches this clause.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of occasion, opportunity or profit, arising from a delayed or failed delivery.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, transport disruption, extreme weather, floods, fire, power or internet failure, epidemics, civil unrest, or acts of government. Where such an event prevents delivery, we will contact you to reschedule or refund the affected items.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [[JURISDICTION_CITY]], [[GOVERNING_STATE]] shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to them, subject to any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings before a consumer forum having jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Severability and Changes

If any clause of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in force. We may revise these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that governs that order.

15. Grievance Redressal

For any complaint about an order or about these Terms, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint and work to resolve it within the timelines prescribed under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
